Oscar Fogelström Composes for Documentary “MAKE DEMOCRACY GREAT AGAIN”

Date Oct 20th 2023 - Oscar Fogelström, renowned for his evocative musical compositions, has unveiled his recent work on the score for the provocative documentary, "MAKE DEMOCRACY GREAT AGAIN". Filmed on location across the globe, from the USA and UK to South Africa and Hungary, this documentary raises the pressing question: "Will democracy survive?" At present, only 13 percent of the global population live in democracies, and the trend shows a troubling decline.

Directed by John Lundberg and produced by Ulrik Medin, the film captures a snapshot of our current world. Fogelström's scoring process, which spanned the spring and early summer of 2023, sought to complement and amplify the gravity and hopes presented in the documentary.

On his collaboration, Fogelström shared, "Working with Director John Lundberg and producer Ulrik Medin was truly rewarding. I genuinely felt their trust throughout our journey, allowing me to craft a score that truly resonates with the film's poignant message."

Aided by esteemed musicians such as Rachel Lanskey and David Bukovinszky, and Mixed by Rich Aitken, the soundtrack promises to be an auditory experience that mirrors the depth of the documentary's narrative.
